Dr. Diana Carleton has over twenty five years experience providing coaching, team building, marketing, organizational consulting, professional development, and management services. This breadth of experience covers a diverse group of settings such as an international management consulting firm, agencies and non- profit businesses, health care industries, and universities.  Her work focuses on helping individuals and organizations develop their maximum potential through a collaborative approach. She is one of the founders of AccessSuccess, a faculty member of the internationally known Houston Galveston Institute and an Associate of the Taos Institute. She is a former Program Director for the graduate psychology program at Our Lady of the Lake University in Houston. Her strong leadership skills were developed by effectively directing several programs in non–profit organizations and as psychological consultant to several health care and training institutions.  She takes pride in guiding others to develop effective leadership skills.

Education

Diana received her doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Houston in 1987.  She is a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Accomplishments

  • Successfully coached and developed several new service businesses that provided psychological services to individuals and organizations.
  •  Coached executives and middle management of major oil company in developing new career opportunities.
  • Consultation to CEO for conflict resolution for two high level managers.
  •  Skilled in presenting assertiveness training, stress and time management, advanced communication skills, negotiation, team building and performance enhancement workshops for organizations.
  • Skilled in the administration and interpretation of numerous career and personality assessments.
  •  Developing a system for screening and hiring personnel in several organizations which resulted in more appropriate placement and less turnover. 
  •  Uses the Appreciative Inquiry method of consulting which uses a collaborative approach to focus on what is working in organizations rather that problem conversation. 
  • Trains already effective leaders to maximize their potential through cultivating their Emotional Intelligence in relating to others.
